A Microsite is a free, personalized website designed to help patients search for a donor. It can be easily shared through email, social media, and face to face with the 250 business cards that will be sent out once the site is active. Potential donors can easily and confidentially register to be your donor.
Visit our microsites page at https://www.findakidney.org/microsites/ to learn more about our microsite program and request an invite from your transplant coordinator.
Our microsite coaches have personal experience with searching for a living kidney donor and can help you throughout the search process. Visit https://www.findakidney.org/microsites/donor-search-coaches/ for more information about our microsite coaching program.
We recommend sharing your microsite with as many people as you can. Let your friends, family, and acquaintances know about your microsite and share the link on social media to reach a wider audience.
There are many ways to share your microsite and get your story out. Social media, business cards, billboards, t-shirts, word of mouth, and advertisements are all ways you can share your microsite and reach potential donors.
All potential donors who come through your microsite will be able to speak to a living donor mentor. Mentors have already donated and can answer questions about the donation process.
